Ramadan Banking Hours 2025: SBP Announces Revised Banking Schedule for Ramadan Banking Hours 2025: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has officially announced revised banking hours for Ramadan 2025 to accommodate fasting hours. The new schedule applies to all commercial banks, development finance institutions (DFIs), and microfinance banks across the country.

New Ramadan Banking Hours 2025

As per the official statement, the revised working hours for banks are as follows:

Monday to Thursday:
9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (No break)
Friday:
9:00 AM–12:30 PM
For public dealings, banks will operate on the following schedule:
Monday to Thursday:
9:00 AM–2:00 PM
Friday:
9:00 AM–12:30 PM

SBP has instructed all financial institutions to strictly follow this schedule throughout Ramadan 2025.

Government Offices Also Adjust Working Hours

The Establishment Division has issued a notification regarding revised working hours for federal government offices:

Offices with a five-day workweek:
9:00 AM–3:00 PM
Offices with a six-day workweek:
9:00 AM–2:00 PM
Fridays: All government offices will close at
12:30 PM for Jumu’ah prayers.

Pakistan Railways Revises Reservation Office Hours

Pakistan Railways has also adjusted working hours for reservation offices, operating in two shifts:

Morning Shift:
7:30 AM–12:30 PM
Evening Shift:
12:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Fridays:
12:30 PM – 2:00 PM (Break for Jumu’ah prayers)

However, reservation offices operating on a single shift will continue with their existing schedules. These adjustments will remain in effect until the 15th of Ramadan, after which regular timings will resume.

Public Advisory: Use Online Banking Services

The SBP has advised citizens to plan their banking transactions accordingly and use online banking services whenever possible to avoid inconvenience during Ramadan.
