Eid-ul-Adha 2025: Sindh Government Bans Camps and Banners for Sacrificial Animal Hide Collection – Code of Conduct Issued
Karachi (News Report) – The Sindh government has officially issued a strict code of conduct for collecting sacrificial animal hides on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha 2025. As per the notification, setting up camps and banners for hide collection will not be allowed across the province.
According to the latest directive, organizations wishing to collect animal hides must obtain prior permission from the relevant Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner. Only registered welfare organizations, religious seminaries (madaris), and charitable institutions will be granted permission to collect hides.

Furthermore, banned organizations are strictly prohibited from participating in the hide collection process. The government has emphasized that no camp or banner installations will be permitted for this purpose.
The notification also includes additional restrictions:
- No flags on buildings
- No announcements via loudspeakers
- Mandatory display of official permission letters while collecting hides
Authorities have warned that any violation of these rules will result in strict legal action. The move aims to ensure law and order and prevent misuse of hide collections during Eid-ul-Adha in Karachi and other parts of Sindh.
